What you will do

• Maintain and configure geo-distributed infrastructure, including network equipment, bare metal servers, and NAS.
• Manage and configure VMWare virtualization systems, specifically vCenter, vSAN, Distributed Switch, and HA.
• Administer multiple Linux servers from the Debian/Ubuntu family.
• Monitor service status and ensure prompt resolution of emerging infrastructure problems.
• Automate routine administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, DBAs, architects, and development teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar network or infrastructure engineering position.
• Expert knowledge of configuring active network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls) and protocols (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, OpenVPN).
• Proficiency with VMWare (vCenter, vSAN, HA) and HP/Dell server and storage systems.
• Experience in the administration of Debian/Ubuntu Linux.
• Experience with monitoring systems, logging, and metrics collection.
• English: Intermediate level or higher (spoken and technical) required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and IaC tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Understanding of information security principles and experience with SOC2/PCI DSS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Kanban methodology.
