Senior Network Engineer

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and tune Layer 2/3 networks across data-center, lab, and office environments.
• Maintain high-capacity links and routing protocols to meet strict latency and uptime targets.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python, Ansible, or Terraform to build reproducible playbooks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform tri-level troubleshooting for P1/P2 events and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Partner with InfoSec to harden configurations, manage security keys, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks to support Ops and SRE teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• 5-8 years of experience in enterprise or data-center networking.
• Deep expertise in L2/L3 protocols, VPNs, and firewall management (Cisco, Meraki, Dell, Palo Alto).
• Proficiency in network automation tools including Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) including VPCs and Direct Connect.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on documentation and mentoring junior engineers.
