Systems Engineer (Gaming)

Location: Work from home 100% of the time or in one of the global offices (e.g., Neiva, Colombia).

What you will do

• Maintain and secure physical and virtual infrastructure services for gaming environments.
• Perform systems modeling, analysis, and testing across Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms.
• Develop implementation plans, project timelines, runbooks, and rollback strategies.
• Build and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot server, OS, virtualization, storage, and connectivity issues.
• Manage hardware, OS, hypervisor, and firmware upgrades as required.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Proficiency in administering Windows Server 2016+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, or StorMagic.
• Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall, and SSL/TLS concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
