What you will do

• Manage data collection for ~20k meters, ensuring daily operational performance and reporting.
• Lead metering infrastructure upgrade programs to replace legacy communications and end-of-life systems.
• Act as the financial lead by managing outlooks, creating purchase orders, and driving financial commitments.
• Oversee operational activities across internal energy teams, meter operators, and power-skilled field professionals.
• Lead the business transition to a new data collector role in line with Market Wide Half Hourly (MHHS) changes.
• Sustain and report on supplier performance in accordance with KPIs.

Requirements

• Professional experience in industry, data, financial, or delivery management.
• Technical proficiency in databases, manufacturer software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement preventative processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordination with senior stakeholders.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Glasgow or Manchester offices.

Nice to have

• Lead role experience in Meter back-office operations, Data Collection, or Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS).
• Experience managing large-scale technical roll-out projects.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems.
• Experience in financial management and supplier receipting.
