Salary: $180,000 — $247,500 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales to demonstrate how hirify.global solves customer business problems
• Provide technical leadership for customer evaluations and adoptions
• Consult on big data architectures, build POCs for strategic projects, validate integrations with cloud and 3rd-party apps
• Develop and present reference architectures, how-tos, and application demos
• Promote open source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog) via meetups, conferences, webinars
• Travel to meet customers in territory

Requirements

• 7+ years in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles, preferably with big-data technologies for data engineering and analytics
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Comfortable programming and debugging in at least one of: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, R
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with data engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and data warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS) technologies
• Undergraduate degree or higher in engineering or mathematics (Computer Science, Applied Math, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
