What you will do

• Define the technical vision and the Plan of Record to convert business requirements into scalable software blueprints.
• Lead a team of Active Architects to design cloud-native systems with a focus on scalability, security, and observability.
• Drive the migration from legacy monolithic systems to service-oriented, event-driven architectures using Anti-Corruption Layers.
• Implement AI-native innovation by leveraging LLMs to map legacy codebases and generate technical specifications.
• Partner with Digital Product Managers in a Three-in-a-Box model to own the technical solution design and trade-off decisions.
• Establish architectural governance and conduct deep-dive reviews to eliminate architectural drift.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 6+ years in senior architectural leadership for enterprise-scale systems.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep mastery of AWS and architectural patterns, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and service decomposition.
• Strong coding background in Java or Python, with the ability to read code to verify system implementation.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as HealthTech, MedTech, or Fintech.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated experience using LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate technical tasks and documentation.
