Product Analyst (Chemicals)

TL;DR

Product Analyst (Chemicals): Supporting the development and execution of product line strategies for the Mexican market with an accent on data analysis and market intelligence. Focus on building actionable insights, managing supplier operational contacts, and tracking product performance KPIs.

Location: Hybrid (3 days office in Tultepec, EDOMEX / 2 days remote). Must be based in Mexico.

What you will do

• Analyze product and supplier performance, market trends, and pipelines to support the Product Manager.
• Act as the primary operational contact for suppliers regarding pricing, logistics, and payment terms.
• Prepare business performance reports, including KPIs, margin analysis, and cost comparisons.
• Conduct competitive market analysis using import data and internal tools.
• Coordinate material setup and ensure data accuracy across internal systems.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Quality teams for inventory and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing.
• Prior experience in the chemical industry or in product management, business analysis, or supply chain roles.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience working with SAP; familiarity with Salesforce or Tableau is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into business recommendations.
