Financial Accountant II

TL;DR

Financial Accountant II (ERP): Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data driving organizational decisions with an accent on account reconciliations, fixed assets, and ERP implementation. Focus on resolving complex transactions, preparing journal entries, supporting month-end close, and contributing to process improvements and system enhancements.

Location: Must be resident of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. WA residents within driving distance of Tukwila requested in HQ Tuesdays & Wednesdays (hybrid); remote otherwise.

Salary: $88,000–$107,500

What you will do

• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts including loans, fixed assets, and payroll.
• Review invoices and classify expenses as capital or operational per general ledger standards.
• Prepare daily and month-end journal entries, support close processes with trend analysis and reporting.
• Manage fixed asset processes: capitalization, depreciation, transfers, adjustments in ERP system.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues, provide insights, and support audits/regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to ERP implementation, process improvements, controls, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years progressive accounting experience: month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, GAAP
• Experience managing multiple tasks in fast-paced environment, working independently and collaboratively
• Exposure to fixed assets or ERP systems preferred
