Location: On-site in Columbus, OH. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Salary: $28 - $35 an hour

What you will do

• Execute remote hands services and customer support requests, including reboots, media swaps, and physical-layer tasks.
• Install, test, label, and maintain structured copper and fiber cabling and cross-connect infrastructure.
• Provision and troubleshoot customer and carrier interconnection services within defined physical-layer scope.
• Monitor security and environmental alarms, perform site rounds, and escalate operational issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation for cross-connects, connectivity paths, and capacity tracking.
• Support physical network hardware readiness through rack-and-stack assistance and cable management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or related certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, telecom, or IT support preferred.
• Hands-on experience with copper and fiber cabling, patch panels, and cable testing tools.
• Familiarity with remote hands services, ticketing systems, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (Wed-Sat, 2:00pm - 12:00am) and participate in rotating 24x7 on-call support.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no sponsorship (including CPT/OPT) is available.
