TL;DR

Sr. Analyst, Applied AI (HR Tech): Redesigning HR, Talent Acquisition, and Enablement workflows using AI-native tools and automation with an accent on workflow mapping and AI tool orchestration. Focus on building manager copilots, candidate screening workflows, and reducing operational friction within the People organization.

Location: On-site in Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA

Salary: $150,000 – $165,000

What you will do

  • Map and redesign People org workflows with an AI-native lens to identify automation and augmentation opportunities.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered tools, such as manager copilots, candidate screening workflows, and onboarding automations, using Claude and no-code platforms.
  • Partner with AI, systems, and data engineers to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
  • Serve as the primary AI capability advisor for the People organization, evaluating build vs. buy tradeoffs.
  • Manage data sensitivity and compliance, ensuring all AI tools protect employee privacy and adhere to employment law.
  • Drive adoption and change management for internal AI tools through continuous feedback and refinement.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in an individual contributor role in technical product management, data science, or people analytics.
  • Hands-on professional experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and agentic orchestration systems (n8n, make.com, or Airia).
  • Proficiency with no-code/low-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, Workato) and HR SaaS platforms (Workday, Ashby).
  • Mature understanding of HR data sensitivity and employment law constraints regarding automated decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using spreadsheets and BI tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Tech, Information Systems, Organizational Psychology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AI governance, including prompt design and data access controls.
  • Experience building Slack-based bots or internal tools without direct engineering support.
  • Prior experience in HR technology or people analytics at a SaaS company.
  • Exposure to I-9/EEO compliance or compensation equity frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or Looker at a read/analysis level.
