Director, Product Design

Location: Remote, based in the United States or Canada. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $235,600–$294,500 USD annual base salary, plus performance-based bonus or variable pay and equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Lead, grow, coach, and mentor a team of design managers.
• Engage with customers to understand their operations, workflows, and user needs.
• Partner with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to define opportunities and deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Define and drive product design strategy across multiple product areas.
• Guide the design and iteration of user-friendly features, workflows, interfaces, and design systems for IoT products.
• Hire and develop an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing design organization while improving team health and output.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• At least 4–6 years of product design management experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to lead teams that ship elegant solutions to complex problems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Track record of hiring, growing, and retaining strong design talent.
