What you will do

• Lead negotiations for large-scale compute and cloud capacity agreements with hyperscalers and neoclouds.
• Manage strategic hardware partnerships with chip, accelerator, and server vendors.
• Provide end-to-end legal support for data center and AI factory buildouts, including leases and construction contracts.
• Structure power purchase agreements and long-term energy commitments.
• Serve as legal lead for strategic infrastructure transactions, joint ventures, and site acquisitions.
• Develop scalable legal playbooks and templates for infrastructure operations.

Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience, specifically in complex infrastructure or hardware supply transactions.
• Proven expertise in at least two areas: hardware partnerships, cloud capacity, energy contracting, or data center leases.
• Ability to operate independently on first-of-their-kind deals.
• Strong commercial judgment and experience managing outside counsel.
• Technical fluency in compute transactions and project finance.

Nice to have

• Experience at an AI lab, hyperscaler, or semiconductor company.
• Knowledge of construction, real estate, or land use laws.
• Familiarity with tax and financing structures for capital-intensive infrastructure.
• Background in government, regulatory, or national security, including export controls.
