What you will do

• Contribute to key corporate initiatives, including M&A, securities matters, and financing transactions.
• Review and draft continuous disclosure documents such as press releases, annual information forms, and MD&A.
• Assist in preparing materials for Board of Directors meetings and annual shareholders' meetings.
• Advise on corporate law matters including dissolutions, reorganizations, and intercompany agreements.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance trends, investor relations, and sustainability disclosure regulations.
• Coordinate and manage files assigned to external law firms.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws degree (Common Law training is an asset).
• Membership in the Quebec Bar or equivalent from any Canadian province.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as in-house counsel for a publicly traded company or in a private law firm.
• Experience in M&A, securities law, and general corporate law.
• Excellent command of French and English (oral and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
