Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (requires presence in office 2 core days per week)

What you will do

• Manage product compliance activities from early requirements definition through certification and post-launch maintenance.
• Utilize hands-on knowledge of UL and FCC standards to ensure timely product certification.
• Review and approve certification plans in partnership with internal teams, external laboratories, and ODMs.
• Oversee product markings, labels, and technical documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain auditable compliance records and technical documentation within PLM systems.
• Monitor evolving regulations and communicate business impacts and recommended actions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in consumer product compliance activities.
• Hands-on experience working with third-party certification bodies and laboratories.
• Working knowledge of RF, EMC, wireless, battery, and environmental compliance processes.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with smart home wireless devices.
• Knowledge of the UK compliance landscape (UKCA, WEEE).
• Proficiency with PLM software such as Propel.
• Experience collaborating with Asia-based suppliers and test laboratories.
