What you will do

• Monitor and maintain network availability and latency in enterprise mainframe environments.
• Configure and support mainframe network protocols, including VTAM, for secure and reliable connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network changes, upgrades, and improvements.
• Document network configurations and maintain standards supporting security and compliance.

Requirements

• Location: Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe network support or administration, including exposure to z/OS environments.
• Experience configuring and monitoring mainframe network protocols such as VTAM.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for network connectivity and performance issues.
• Understanding of enterprise network security principles.
• Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation, incident reporting, and communication with global teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with operational runbooks, documentation standards, and compliance requirements.
