What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications and APIs to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to define technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve system scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and fix complex technical issues throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Deliver high-quality products within Agile and SAFe frameworks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP and frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
• 3+ years of experience with Angular, TypeScript, and HTML5.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented design, development principles, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL.
• Experience with Git-based version control and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Must be able to attend in-person interviews and work hybrid (8 days/month) in North York, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with quality-focused engineering like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Proven track record of developing and deploying cloud-based applications from inception.
