Salary: $104,400 - $135,700 CAD

What you will do

• Implement and maintain system architecture for Public Works fleet management products.
• Develop scalable, secure web applications using C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Perform quality assurance through peer reviews and root cause analysis of bugs using call stacks and trace files.
• Participate in the development of prototypes, MVPs, and proofs of concept.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across teams.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in object-oriented programming (C# and full-stack background preferred).
• Proficiency in C# / .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Git.
• Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL Server and Postgres database design and optimization.
• Must be able to work in a distributed remote environment, preferably in Pacific or Mountain Time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Gemini, or Codex.
• Strong interest in AI Fluency.
