What you will do

• Lead technical direction and execution for the budgeting platform across several engineering teams.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable features from concept through production support.
• Maintain engineering excellence by adhering to standards and contributing to testing and automation.
• Adopt and integrate AI-enabled development practices to improve team productivity and code quality.
• Resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and production defects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver customer-aligned features.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS applications.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases, specifically MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Technical expertise across Node.js, Express, and Angular.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex features with minimal oversight.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with predictable delivery cycles.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
