TL;DR

Junior Fund Asset Manager (Renewables): Supporting the performance and optimization of a renewable energy asset portfolio with an accent on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Location: Hybrid; must be based in London, UK (office attendance required at least 3 days per week)

What you will do

  • Optimize asset profitability and performance, primarily for BESS, including revenue optimization and risk mitigation.
  • Manage defined workstreams for issue resolution, contractor oversight, and optimization initiatives.
  • Coordinate incident management and analyze performance trends in collaboration with technical and energy market teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, optimizers, and O&M providers.
  • Execute asset-level reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial valuation processes.
  • Evaluate and execute optimization opportunities, such as augmentation strategies and contract refinements.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a commercial, financial, or asset management role.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or renewables is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop practical recommendations.
  • Knowledge of contractual frameworks like O&M and optimization agreements.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High numerical and financial acumen regarding valuation drivers.
