What you will do

• Lead a team of approximately 15 people to design, develop, configure, and test security-enabling software.
• Develop embedded cybersecurity solutions using C/C++, Java, and Python for ECU components and system-wide onboard software.
• Participate in iterative development and fast delivery of features using Linux, Python, and Agile practices.
• Design and document cybersecurity features and validate their implementation across the product line.
• Lead the team in assessing and identifying critical cybersecurity software risks.

Requirements

• Strong experience in requirements analysis, analytical thinking, and technical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in software design and development tools for embedded systems.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Mossville, IL.
• Visa sponsorship will NOT be offered for this position.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Electronics Technology.
• Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS) and communication networks (Ethernet, J1939, Cat Data Link).
• Proficiency with GIT, Design Patterns, and Object-Oriented programming.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Unit Testing, and debugging tools like Lauterbach or GDB.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
