What you will do

• Design and develop low-level drivers for Ethernet, PCIe, and FlexE PHY.
• Develop firmware and L1 switch protocols for optical physical layer products.
• Convert customer requirements and use cases into API definitions and implement them.
• Perform code reviews, bug fixes, and maintenance of driver release branches.
• Act as a technical liaison between Chip Development Teams and Application Teams/Customers.
• Implement automation and scripting to optimize the development flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics (Master's preferred).
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Embedded, Device Driver, or Protocol Software Design.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ coding and debugging.
• Working knowledge of PCIe retimers, switches, and IEEE 802.3 Physical layer standards.
• Experience with FW development for RX equalization, DFE/FFE adaptation, and eye monitoring of Serdes IPs.
• Experience with pre-silicon/RTL and SW co-simulation environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with L1/L2 Ethernet and PCS, MAC layer.
• Knowledge of register-level API development for transceivers.
• Experience using traffic generation tools such as IXIA or Spirent.
• Practical experience with hardware platforms in a lab environment.
