What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies for hardware product design and manufacturing.
• Build web-based interfaces to configure and control tools, including frontends, backends, databases, and APIs.
• Capture user stories and requirements to ensure alignment between software solutions and end-user needs.
• Automate build and deployment processes to optimize development workflows.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure tool reliability and performance.
• Support Linux EDA tool infrastructure, utilizing Cadence, Cliosoft, Python, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience in full-stack software development (frontend and backend).
• Understanding of AI fundamentals and automation principles.
• Experience with one or more EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor, along with shell scripting (Perl, Python, or Tcl).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux platforms and semiconductor processing/engineering.
• Experience with OA/SKILL/Python VLSI mask design layout and verification.
• Knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso, Klayout, Calibre DRV, and Calibre.
• Experience with DRC, ICV, or IC Validator.
• Knowledge of microprocessor design, computer architecture, and modern semiconductor design flows.
