What you will do

• Design and develop software systems and infrastructure using Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Build web user interfaces using Angular and React frameworks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to accelerate vehicle development, testing, and operation.
• Integrate and extend commercial products utilizing GraphQL, REST web services, and message queues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across installation, deployment, and server/client configurations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing and deploying software to production environments.
• Proficiency in both typed (Java, C) and untyped (Python, JavaScript) languages.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or lawful refugee/asylum status required.
• Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) for development.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience building rich user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and React.
• Experience mentoring other software engineers through design and code reviews.
