What you will do
- Provide customer support for analyzer and measurement systems installed in pulp and paper manufacturing processes.
- Execute preventative and reactive service calls, performing repairs on products and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of job progress, delays, engineering errors, and fabrication issues.
- Report on completed services, identifying faults and recommending future service improvements.
- Train customer staff on equipment maintenance and repair to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Conduct onsite audits to identify and analyze process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with instrumentation and electromechanics, preferably in a pulp and paper environment.
- Technical school diploma in instrumentation, electromechanics, or mechatronics.
- University bachelorβs degree in Electro-Mechanical or similar engineering.
- Valid driverβs license is required.
- Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel within the assigned area.
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and computer-based system literacy.
