Field Service Engineer

TL;DR

Field Service Engineer (Diagnostics): Provide service to customers with preventative maintenance, retrofit installation, troubleshooting and repair of diagnostic instruments with an accent on hardware/software issues and GMP compliance. Focus on resolving instrument problems, performing installations, and maintaining customer communications at sites.

What you will do

• Provide service and support for instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair with minimal assistance.
• Assist with instrument installations and perform preventative maintenance and retrofit installations.
• Resolve hardware and software problems through troubleshooting and repair.
• Maintain communications with customers, applications, and sales teams.
• Complete field service reports, manage assets, and ensure compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in training for skill development.

Requirements

• AA Degree in Laboratory Technician, Electronics, Engineering Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years as Biomedical Equipment, Electronics or Field Service Technician.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting with minimal support.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, medical terminology, immunology, and immunoassay technology.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written skills; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
