Service Engineer (Pharma)

What you will do

• Travel to customer sites (75-85%+) for initial commissioning, debugging, repair, and SLA service.
• Perform advanced diagnosis, testing, and repairs on pharmaceutical equipment.
• Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to ensure machine quality.
• Build spare part and retrofit assemblies according to technical prints.
• Collaborate with the Assembly team to stay updated on latest machine designs and training.
• Maintain a professional presence and promote company values while interacting with clients.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer; no visa sponsorship available.
• High school diploma or GED (required); two-year degree in Manufacturing or Electrical preferred.
• 5-7 years of Field Service experience in manufacturing and automation equipment.
• 3-4 years of experience as a traveling Field Technician.
• Ability to travel 85% or more and provide on-call and weekend support.
• Skillful use of hand/power tools and ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.

Nice to have

• Experience with Machine Based Inspection and Defect Detection Systems.
• Experience with Vision Inspection specifically in the pharmaceutical packaging industry.
• Knowledge of image processing and optical systems used in manufacturing production.
