What you will do

• Manage and process internal purchase requests to ensure timely fulfillment of business needs.
• Identify, vet, and develop new vendor relationships to expand and diversify the supply chain.
• Conduct market research and price evaluations to identify best value regarding cost and quality.
• Execute the creation, issuance, and tracking of Purchase Orders from initiation to delivery.
• Manage supplier payment requests and ensure alignment with contractual terms and compliance.
• Oversee departmental expenditures and lead cost-reduction projects through negotiation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related procurement experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be based in Laredo, TX for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft or Google Tools.
• Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP Systems, specifically Accounts Payable modules.
• Knowledge of BI reporting and hirify.global TMS.
