What you will do

• Lead branch transportation operations, managing the P&L and achieving annual operating plan and cost-saving objectives.
• Manage and develop a team of supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers, including overseeing recruiting and retention strategies.
• Optimize private fleet dispatch to maximize DOT Hours of Service and reduce regional Cost Per Mile (CPM).
• Manage lane-level sourcing for private and common carriers to ensure on-time delivery and route guide compliance.
• Oversee capacity management to support volume surges and optimize asset utilization.
• Develop and implement capital replacement needs for private fleet assets within the branch.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
• Experience in HAZMAT and tanker transportation operations.
• Proven track record in managing private fleets and P&L budgeting.
• Detailed working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Strong analytical and negotiating skills with the ability to lead organizational change.
