Valve Specialist Engineer (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Act as project subject matter expert for isolation, control, check, relief, and safety valves.
• Provide guidance on valve selection, sizing, materials, and application suitability.
• Review datasheets, P&IDs, isometrics, and manufacturer literature.
• Support installation, inspections, function checks, leak testing, and precommissioning.
• Manage valve registers, traceability, and coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and teams.
• Evaluate defects, support walkdowns, punch listing, and commissioning turnover.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in valve engineering, preferably in nuclear or power plant industry.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proven experience with valve design, testing, and installation in nuclear environment.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, ASME, API, ISO standards.
• Technical expertise in nuclear safety-related valves; strong problem-solving skills.
• CCNSG certification; proficiency with relevant software tools.
