IT Engineer (Mid-Level)

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage employee onboarding/offboarding, account provisioning, and access control.
• Administer Google Workspace users, groups, policies, and security settings.
• Own and operate MDM solutions to secure and manage company devices.
• Triage and respond to security vulnerabilities, alerts, and incidents.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and Bash.
• Support compliance audits and initiatives, including SOC 2 and HIPAA.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IT, security, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, JumpCloud).
• Strong Apple and Windows administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (SSO, IAM, RBAC).
• Must be based in the US; sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or SaaS regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with Vanta or similar compliance management platforms.
• Exposure to security tools such as SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability scanners.
• Relevant IT certifications (CCNA, A+, Google Cloud, Azure, AWS).
