What you will do

• Lead and grow a highly effective Data Engineering & Management team, overseeing recruiting and resource staffing.
• Manage team performance through regular feedback, monitoring long-term growth, and ensuring employee wellbeing.
• Drive the DE&M competency strategy by implementing operational rhythms and executing company-wide guidelines.
• Collaborate with Go-to-market and Account teams to ensure high customer satisfaction during project delivery.
• Support presales processes, including effort estimation, costing, and the preparation of success stories.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong professional knowledge in Data Engineering and Data Management fields.
• Experience in people management, customer management, and project delivery.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical architecture and business value.
• English: B2 level or higher required.
• Location: Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and cloud tools like Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI/ML Ops, GenAI, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Industry experience in the CPG sector.
