Location: Hybrid (London, UK) — 3 fixed days per week in the Old Street office

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design process from early concept exploration through to detailed specifications.
• Conduct user research, including customer interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability testing to drive design decisions.
• Develop and maintain the company's design system, ensuring consistency across mobile and web platforms.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional squad alongside engineers and product managers in an agile environment.
• Create mobile-first experiences optimized for frontline workers in environments with low connectivity and shared devices.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to validate designs and iterate for maximum effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex products.
• Expertise in mobile-first design and a deep understanding of native mobile patterns.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and strong prototyping skills.
• Proven ability to plan, run, and synthesize user research findings.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design rationale to stakeholders and engineers.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from London, UK (3 days/week in office).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience working in a scaling startup environment.
• Strong systems thinking for designing complex workflows.
