Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK); 3 days on-site, 2 days remote. Schedule includes evenings and two weekend shifts per month.

What you will do

• Prescribe cannabis-based medicines (CBPM) as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
• Clinically check and review prescriptions to ensure maximum safety and accuracy.
• Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients regarding treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in strict accordance with GPhC standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to develop clinical pathways and service improvements.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.

Requirements

• GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
• At least 2 years of prescribing experience.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills across clinical and non-clinical settings.
• Ability to manage complex workflows and prioritize competing demands.
• Must be based in or able to work in Bristol, UK for the hybrid on-site requirement.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cannabis-based medicines (CBPM) or a willingness to undergo specialized training.
