Location: Hybrid (Canberra, Australia) - based in the Belconnen office

What you will do

  • Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and P&L statements.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and budgets, providing detailed variance commentary against actual results.
  • Partner with project managers to review project bookings, WIP, and Deferred Revenue.
  • Support data and system migration projects from Xero to Oracle NetSuite and SuiteProjects.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, supporting external audit requirements.
  • Prepare monthly EGM reporting packs and perform intercompany reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) or currently working towards one.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial accounting roles.
  • Must be based in Canberra or able to work in a hybrid arrangement at the Belconnen office.
  • Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite, SuiteProjects, and Microsoft Office 365 (including PowerBI and SharePoint).
