Semiconductor Product Engineer (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain ATE test programs for AI accelerator chips and pre-silicon test vehicles.
• Implement manufacturing test content for advanced CMOS designs, including high-speed logic, SRAM, DRAM, and high-speed I/O.
• Develop and debug scan/ATPG, LBIST, MBIST, JTAG, and high-speed I/O tests.
• Bring up first silicon on ATE through pattern debugging, tester correlation, characterization, and corner analysis.
• Optimize test coverage, test time, cost, and manufacturing robustness.
• Work with UK-based test development and DFT teams, subcontracted test-program partners, OSATs, and external manufacturing partners on execution, qualification, reliability testing, and production ramp.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on semiconductor test engineering experience.
• Strong experience developing ATE test programs using Advantest 93K or a similar platform.
• Solid understanding of DFT methodologies, including scan, ATPG, and MBIST, as well as memory test techniques.
• Experience debugging silicon issues at the tester and correlating failures with design or process causes.
• Familiarity with advanced CMOS nodes, production test challenges, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience testing AI accelerators, GPUs, networking ASICs, or other high-performance compute ICs.
• Experience with PCIe Gen5/Gen6 or other high-speed interfaces.
• Exposure to advanced packaging, chiplets, or multi-die test flows.
• Experience improving yield, reducing test time, or optimizing cost in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience procuring test hardware such as probe cards, load boards, and sockets.
