What you will do

• Design and operationalize scalable compliance frameworks, policies, and controls aligned with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Build escalation workflows for complaints and review training materials and scripts to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Lead enterprise risk identification, assessment, and mitigation processes, including the maintenance of risk registers.
• Design risk-based monitoring and testing programs and develop KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Respond to and support regulatory inquiries, audits, and examinations.
• Integrate emerging technologies, including AI, to improve processes and drive efficiency within the compliance function.

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within consumer-facing industries (e.g., solar, fintech, financial services).
• Proven experience building and implementing compliance programs from the ground up.
• Strong working knowledge of consumer protection frameworks, specifically FCRA, UDAAP, TILA, GLBA, and FDCPA.
• Bachelor's degree required; JD or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience developing practical, scalable risk-based controls and monitoring frameworks.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
