What you will do

• Build and lead the design verification organization in San Diego from the ground up, defining culture and methodology.
• Develop SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments for complex SoCs and block-level IPs.
• Architect UVM testbenches, including stimulus generators, scoreboards, and coverage models.
• Collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams to manage milestones and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement of verification infrastructure, regression frameworks, and automation.
• Utilize leading-edge AI tools to develop efficient verification environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
• Deep expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology, including constrained random verification.
• Proven track record of achieving functional and code coverage closure on complex SoC or IP tapeouts.
• Proficiency in Python for verification automation and tooling.
• Experience with industry simulators such as Xcelium, Questa, or VCS.

Nice to have

• Experience with protocols such as AMBA (AXI/AHB/APB), PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, or UART.
• Experience with ARM processor subsystem verification, memory controllers, NoC, or cache designs.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ for reference modeling or firmware-driven verification.
• Familiarity with gate-level simulation and post-silicon validation debug.
