Lead ASIC Design Verification Engineer (ASIC): Driving the verification strategy for next-generation silicon by overseeing block-level and system-level verification of complex SoC designs with an accent on architectural integrity and advanced node technologies. Focus on building scalable object-oriented verification environments, resolving complex design trade-offs, and ensuring high-quality silicon delivery.
Location: USA, San Jose (Onsite). Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
Salary: $143,800 – $230,000

What you will do
- Lead and execute comprehensive block and system-level verification strategies for next-gen silicon.
- Define, deploy, and enhance advanced ASIC design verification flows and DV methodologies.
- Build robust, scalable, object-oriented verification environments and testbenches.
- Independently debug complex design issues and resolve intricate verification trade-off scenarios.
- Partner with cross-functional design and verification teams to align on coverage and architectural goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12+ years of industry experience in ASIC design verification.
- Deep fluency in RTL verification methodologies, specifically SystemVerilog.
- Strong working knowledge of UVM, C/C++, and scripting languages (Perl, Python, or Tcl).
- Experience working with advanced process node technologies (5nm and below).
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with hardware design, debugging, and SystemC.
- Hands-on experience with hardware emulation (Palladium, Zebu) and FPGA-based prototyping.
- Broad familiarity with EDA tools and the end-to-end silicon development lifecycle.
