Python Developer (GCP/BigQuery): Designing and maintaining Python-based applications and data processing pipelines deployed on Google Cloud Platform with an accent on BigQuery optimization and DAG-based workflows. Focus on building scalable ETL pipelines and orchestrating complex data workflows to ensure system reliability.

Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain Python applications running on GCP.
Build and manage data processing pipelines and workflows.
Develop and maintain DAGs using Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
Work extensively with BigQuery for data modeling, querying, and optimization.
Collaborate with engineering and data teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python.
Hands-on experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Required experience with BigQuery, including complex queries and performance optimization.
Experience with data processing systems and ETL pipelines.
Proven experience designing and maintaining DAG-based workflows.
Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Charlotte, NC.
