Salary: $90,000 – $130,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines for clinical and operational health datasets across the Military Health System.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and delivery workflows using Talend, AWS Glue, or Apache Airflow.
• Implement automated data quality validation, schema enforcement, and governance practices across pipelines.
• Troubleshoot data processing issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration defects across environments.
• Collaborate with platform and DevSecOps teams to integrate pipelines into CI/CD workflows and automated testing frameworks.
• Support data interoperability with healthcare data standards including FHIR, HL7, and OMOP/CDM.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in enterprise data environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, AWS Glue, or Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data transformation and automation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (certain roles may require U.S. citizenship and security clearance).
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Nice to have

• Experience working in AWS GovCloud or similar federal cloud environments.
• Familiarity with healthcare or regulated data environments and associated compliance requirements.
