What you will do

• Define the future state of the data infrastructure and set the overall architectural direction.
• Establish organization-wide data standards and design highly scalable, optimized data models.
• Lead complex, multi-functional initiatives focused on data quality governance and pipeline maturity.
• Act as the primary technical interface between the Data Engineering team and senior business stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach other engineers to improve code quality and technical skills.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in data engineering with a track record of shipping large-scale data products.
• Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, and Python.
• Deep mastery of advanced data modeling techniques for production systems.
• Proven ability to define technical roadmaps and manage technical debt across multiple teams.
• Experience in mentoring and elevating the engineering maturity of other data engineers.
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience working with marketplaces or two-sided platforms.
