Lead Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Lead Fullstack Engineer (React Native/TypeScript): Building a zero-to-one financial product to provide flexibility and control over payments for millions of users with an accent on technical leadership, mobile architecture, and scalable code. Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States, excluding Hawaii)

Compensation: $174,000 – $224,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Provide technical leadership and guide the overall technical direction of the team.
• Lead design and work breakdown sessions, implementing requirements in TypeScript and Bash.
• Mentor engineers in the development of productivity tooling, test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement dashboards and alerts for system faults and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with Backend Infrastructure Engineering (BEI) to deliver overlapping initiatives and evangelize best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, including build processes using Fastlane.
• Strong understanding of system design paradigms (monoliths, SOA, microservices) and algorithm design.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

Nice to have

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with automated mobile testing frameworks and TDD.
• Experience building tools and libraries specifically for other software engineers.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization techniques.
