Lead Full Stack Engineer - CAADeals (React/Node)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Nashville, Tennessee office

Salary: $215,000–$259,000 annual base salary, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain modern web applications.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
• Lead an agile development team of 3–5 developers and manage 2–3 direct reports.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and improve application performance, quality, responsiveness, and automation.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Mentor full stack developers and help them improve their understanding of business and technical concepts.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as a full stack web developer or in a similar role.
• Mastery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of backend technologies such as Node, Express, Django, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, complex single-page applications, and state management.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, code reviews, Git, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Experience leading teams or managing direct reports, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure SQL, React, Redux, Jest, cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and UI frameworks including Bootstrap, Material, or Tailwind.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
