What you will do

• Analyze wills, trust indentures, agency and custodial agreements, and court orders to extract and enter data into the trust accounting system.
• Establish and maintain client account files and handle routine correspondence with customers, co-executors, and guardians.
• Categorize estate assets for court-mandated inventory filings and prepare documentation for the Commissioner of Accounts.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide recommendations regarding the release of information and funds.
• Monitor daily cash balances, ensure prompt payment of taxes and bills, and prepare cash flow analyses or annual budgets.

Requirements

• BS degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 2 years of experience in trust administration, paralegal, financial services, or accounting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting/tax principles and common asset characteristics.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion for confidential data.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Knoxville, TN or Roanoke, VA.
