TL;DR
Software Engineer II (eCommerce/SaaS): Building and improving customer-facing purchase, upgrade, and billing experiences with an accent on product-led growth (PLG), onboarding, conversion, and monetization flows. Focus on delivering well-scoped features, implementing A/B tests, and owning components end-to-end from design through operational support.
Location: Hybrid (Raleigh, NC). Candidates must already reside in the area; relocation assistance is not available.
Salary: $102,510 - $126,630

What you will do
- Develop and optimize customer-facing purchase, upgrade, and billing experiences.
- Implement features, bug fixes, and experiments to improve onboarding and monetization.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to execute A/B tests and feature flags.
- Own product components end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and support.
- Ensure high code quality through design patterns, security, and integration testing.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for owned product components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience building and supporting SaaS applications in production.
- Proficiency in at least two of: C#/.NET, Node.js, Microservices, or ASP.NET Core.
- Strong understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud-based service deployment.
- Must be based in the Raleigh, NC area as relocation assistance is not offered.
Nice to have
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end automation testing.
- Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a startup mindset.
