What you will do

  • Set technical direction for Accounts team, establishing patterns for secure, scalable, observable systems on AWS.
  • Lead architectural decisions in authentication, authorization, and access control.
  • Build and maintain production-grade services using C#/.NET, microservices, Kafka, and distributed streaming.
  • Design resilient, cloud-native solutions balancing reliability, performance, and cost.
  • Implement observability with logging, metrics, tracing; optimize performance at scale.
  • Mentor engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to hiring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years hands-on software engineering experience at scale.
  • Expert C#/.NET proficiency; microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience designing authentication/authorization systems; Kafka; SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
  • Strong AWS; Datadog for observability; IAM concepts.
  • Excellent communication; proven mentorship and cross-team leadership.

Nice to have

  • Deep experience with ReBAC, RBAC, ABAC; IdP like Okta, Entra.
  • Security-sensitive systems in regulated environments; threat modeling.
  • Legal industry or enterprise content management familiarity.
  • Compliance frameworks: SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA.
