What you will do

• Lead the development of foundational components for hirify.global products, focusing on quality and day-two operations.
• Oversee company-wide observability, monitoring solutions, and critical safety features such as feature flagging.
• Develop organizational strategy and drive cross-functional alignment with product and engineering leadership.
• Promote high engineering standards, ensuring secure architectural designs and resilient systems.
• Manage and mentor a globally distributed team of managers and engineers.
• Hire and develop technical talent to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 11+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing strategic roadmaps in partnership with stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale technical initiatives in high-growth environments.
• Proven ability to maintain and deliver production software in languages such as Go, Java, Python, Ruby, C++, or Rust.

• Experience leading platforms focused on observability and reliability.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems performance, including autoscaling and load balancing.
• Track record of scaling engineering organizations in ambiguous environments.
