What you will do

• Lead the Nova engineering organization across AI application development and ML systems
• Set technical direction for AI-powered product capabilities and shared AI infrastructure
• Drive end-to-end delivery from research through production and scale
• Establish reusable platforms and architectural patterns for AI feature development
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to shape roadmap and support AI adoption
• Hire, manage, and develop Engineering Managers and senior individual contributors

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid roles based in the USA cities listed
• 10+ years engineering experience with leadership of multidisciplinary teams
• Proven experience building and operating production AI/ML systems at scale with enterprise-grade reliability
• Deep knowledge of context engineering including RAG, retrieval-ranking, and evaluation frameworks
• Experience defining technical strategy and translating AI capabilities into customer-facing workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience building LLM-based, agentic or autonomous systems with complex orchestration
• Experience establishing shared AI platforms or developer enablement capabilities
• Familiarity with analytics systems, experimentation workflows, or decisioning frameworks
