What you will do

• Operate cabler machinery to strand conductors and form cable cores, applying fillers and binders.
• Set up equipment, change lay gears, and replace dies according to process operating instructions.
• Execute SAP/ERP transactions to ensure accurate material consumption and smooth process flow.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process and complete required reports.
• Perform accurate product tagging and implement measures to minimize material scrap.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements

• Must be located in or be able to work onsite in Rocky Mount, NC.
• Strong color perception and physical dexterity for threading die plates and changing reels.
• Physical strength to handle loads up to 75 lbs (e.g., rolling finished reels and changing gears).
• Ability to solve simple math problems and operate computers and barcode guns.
• Precision in measuring and maintaining core or unit O.D. within tolerances of 1/10,000 inch.
