What you will do

• Build and lead the San Diego analog design organization from the ground up, shaping its technical DNA and culture.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and supervision to junior engineers.
• Oversee layout activities to ensure high design accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Lead design reviews to maintain quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of design processes and results.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading and scaling analog design teams.
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on expertise in designing mixed-signal circuits (ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, regulators).
• Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies and low-power/high-speed design techniques.
• Proficiency with IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, and Verilog.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law (EAR).
